FedEx Introduces FedEx Business Bonus Program 2002

Thailand's First Customer-Reward Program for SMEs

FedEx launches a special "FedEx Business Bonus" program that will reward its customers in Thailand for their loyalty. Starting from February 1st, 2002, FedEx's SME clients can collect points every time a package is sent. Once enough points are accumulated, a superb premium can be chosen and redeemed according to the number of points tallied. Each 1-kilogram package will give the Member 10 Business Bonus points. The more packages sent via FedEx, the more chances of receiving valuable rewards!

BANGKOK, January 21, 2002 - FedEx Thailand has announced a new "FedEx Business Bonus" program that recognises customer support for FedEx Express. In a major expansion of FedEx Thailand's services to SME shippers, regular users of FedEx International Priority® service to FedEx's 211 countries will be rewarded with points, which can be exchanged for goods. FedEx Regional Marketing Manager for Thailand, Philippines and Indochina, Khun Kaewjai Nacaskul, says Business Bonus Members stand to benefit with valuable business tools for their offices (or office equipment) ranging from Sony Digital Cameras, HP printers, coffee makers, mobile phones, Compaq Notebooks, Office Mate® gift vouchers and many others.

"The FedEx Thailand Business Bonus program is one way of recognising our SME customers in Thailand, who have remained loyal to FedEx and grown with us over the years," said Khun Kaewjai.

"Our small and medium shippers showed enormous support for FedEx last year and by launching this reward program we are underlining the importance of these shippers to our business and our commitment to deliver 100% satisfaction.

Rewards can be collected with a minimum of only 30 points. In addition, those who register their accounts for the Business Bonus Program before March 1st, 2002 will be automatically credited with 25 bonus points absolutely free. To make it even easier and more fun to win, clients in the same office can combine their points into one account to increase the value of the premium they will be entitled to.
