'Ship & Win' Grand Prize Winner presented with Nokia handphone
Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA 24 July, 2003 - A routine morning at the office
turned into a surprisingly pleasant day for Ann Janet Zuzartee, an
office administrator at geo-synthetics engineering company Ten Cate
Nicolon Asia Sdn Bhd, when she received a call from FedEx Express
(FedEx), the world¡¦s largest express transportation
company, informing her she was the Grand Prize Winner of a Nokia
handphone in the FedEx's 'Ship & Win' promotion.
Run exclusively in Malaysia, the 'Ship & Win' promotion rewarded
outbound shippers who sent shipments between 20kg to 70kg each to any
destination in Asia via the FedEx AsiaOne Network from 1 April to 31
May 2003. Apart from the grand prize of a Nokia handphone, prizes for
lucky winners ranged from FedEx caps and T-shirts to a unique FedEx
model van.
At a recent prize presentation ceremony held at the FedEx head office
in Damansara Uptown, Ann received a Nokia handphone from Lily Tay,
FedEx Managing Director for Malaysia and Brunei.
According to Ann, her company, which is headquartered in Holland, sends
regular monthly shipments to the Asia Pacific region. "We have been
utilizing the services of FedEx for the 10kg and 25kg shipments for
over two years because of the competitive rates and service provided."
