FedEx to sponsor '5th Seoul International Youth Film Festival'

To deliver 55 films from 10 countries worldwide

October 28, 2003, SEOUL - FedEx Express, the world's largest express transportation company, today announced that it would sponsor the "5th Seoul International Youth Film Festival," themed "80 Days Around the World." The festival will be held from October 30th to November 2nd, 2003 in Seoul.

FedEx Korea will take charge of the international delivery of various kinds of materials for the festival, including exhibits. Through its sponsorship, FedEx will deliver about 55 films to Korea from around 10 countries worldwide, including Germany, France, Norway, the U.S. and Australia, and will return the exhibits to each country at the conclusion of the festival. In addition, FedEx will sponsor T-shirts and bags for festival staff.

"We are pleased to sponsor the Seoul International Youth Film Festival, which is being held for the first time after becoming independent from the Busan Film Festival.", said David B. The festival lasts for about 80 hours, providing an opportunity for teenagers to communicate across cultures through film.
