Venezuela Import Requirements
On August 1 2007, the entry requirements for FedEx Express shipments imported into Venezuela changed. As a result, shipments must now be accompanied by the following documentation:
- If a shipment requires a Commercial Invoice, the original and two copies must travel with the shipment. This requirement is driven by the commodity, not by the value of the shipment. Almost all commodities other than documents require a Commercial Invoice.
- The Declared Value for Customs on the FedEx International Air Waybill must match the value on the Commercial Invoice.
