Continued commitment to addressing local customers' needs
TAIPEI, January 27, 2000 - Federal Express Corporation (FedEx),
the world's largest express transportation company, announced today
the launch of their 24 hour voice service system to complement its
toll free line 0800-075-075, in an meet to satisfy local clients'
need.
The newly launched 24 hour voice service will bring great convenience
to local clients. Besides the original telephone service, the 24
hour hot line adds an additional four voice service items including
document pick-up, package and shipping charge inquiries, blank form
faxing and packaging materials inquiries.
"The introduction of the new 24 hour voice service system is yet
another initiative that demonstrates FedEx's long-term commitment
to addressing the needs of its customers locally," said Jimmy Chen,
Managing Director of FedEx Taiwan. "This newly added voice service
will enable clients to use FedEx's unique "we live to deliver" express
service at a faster speed and more conveniently," added Jimmy.
FedEx's new 24 hour voice service system features simple procedures
and operations, fast responses and year long service, making it
easy for clients to handle international express shipments and not
worry about their shipments on holidays.
