PETALING JAYA, August 20, 1999 - Federal Express Corporation (FedEx),
the world's largest express transportation company today announced
its FedEx F1 Action program - a special customer award program to
celebrate the first ever Formula One race to be held in Malaysia.
The FedEx F1 Action program is a redemption program that is open
to all FedEx account holders in Malaysia and runs from now until
September 28, 1999. Customers simply accumulate points by shipping
with FedEx and stand a chance to win great F1 action prizes. New
customers who are not FedEx account holders can still participate
by opening a FedEx account within this period.
Prizes for the FedEx F1 Action program include tickets for two
to attend the Formula One race at Sepang in the Ferrari Hospitality
Suite on October 17, tickets for two to view the Formula One time
trials on October 16 and many more exciting prizes.
According to Mr. Malcolm Sullivan, Managing Director of FedEx Marketing,
