FedEx Express to offer U.S. citizens free election ballot delivery

BEIJING, September 28, 2000. - FedEx Express has announced today that the company would offer non-resident U.S. citizens free election ballot delivery for the November elections. The offer is open to all U.S. citizens currently residing in Greater China, North Pacific and South Pacific regions.

Ballots can be dropped-off from now until November 3, 2000 at FedEx Express World Shipping Centers, FedEx Express Stations and participating American Clubs for collection within regular local cut-off times*. Customers in Hong Kong, for example, can drop off their ballots as late as five p.m. for overnight delivery.

As with all FedEx Express shipments, voters can track their ballots via the FedEx Intership Internet service on their PC's at home or with our new Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) access. Users can also contact FedEx's service hotline to locate their nearest drop-off location.

Locations in the Asia Pacific region participating in the ballot program are: Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, The Philippines and Vietnam.
